The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA)
The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) is the National body of Architects in the country. Established in 1917, the institute today has more than 20,000 members and plays a major role in promoting the profession of architecture by organising and uniting the Architects of India to promote aesthetic, scientific and practical efficiency of the profession both in Practice and in Education.
IIA is represented on various national and international committees connected with architecture, art and the building industry and is also actively associated with International Union of Architects (UIA) Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA) and South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation of Architects (SAARCH).

“WORLD ARCHITECTURE DAY GREETINGS from IIA”.
We are pleased to announce a poster competition open to all members of IIA. The Theme for the poster will be â Disaster and After…….Role of Architectsâ . The participant should give a write up in 200 words , which should be part of the poster design. The size of the poster should be of A1. The poster design shall be sent as a soft copy to IIA by e mail:- firstname.lastname@example.orgemail@example.com. The last date of submission will be on 25th October, 2018.
The first prize will be Rs 80001/-
The Second Prize will be Rs 50001/-
The Third Prize will be Rs 20001/-
We request All Members to participate in the poster competition.
